About

Hi, I'm your friendly neighborhood photographer.

Brandon Slicker, photographer

I'm Brandon Slicker.

I don't shoot webs — I shoot photos, and then I put them on the web. I started taking portraits in 2016 in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, a small Amish town just north of Pittsburgh, and a few years later I made the move to historic Boston, Massachusetts.

Over the years I've photographed blushing brides, dashing grooms, brilliant babies, successful graduates, loud nightlife, quiet couples, and a lot of people who don't fit neatly into any of those boxes. That's the best part.

A hundred years from now, someone will look back into an exact moment in time — not just you, but your great-great descendants. That's why photography matters.

My work is about two things at once: preserving the moments that matter, and photographing people as themselves — not as a version of themselves they think a camera wants. I care about the real you. The loud you, the quiet you, the you that shows up at Club Café on a Saturday, the you at the altar, the you in a cap and gown, the you in your own kitchen with your kid.

I'm based in Boston and work across New England, with roots in western Pennsylvania. Event coverage, editorial portraits, LGBTQ+ community and nightlife, nonprofits and visual storytelling are where the work is growing most intentionally — while weddings, couples, families, graduates and one-off ideas are still very much welcome.
